Physical activity promotion in documents of international organizations

Title: Physical activity promotion in the documents of international organizations Objectives: The main objective of this work is to explain the meaning of the promotion of physical activity for the human health and to show the way leading to the active way of life of the whole population. The partial objective is to show the content and the means of the promotion of physical activity and various strategies aimed on the increasing the physical activity level of the different populations in various environments. Methods: In this work I use the analysis of documents of various institutions, especially WHO, and the studies published in scientific and professional journals, dealing with the problems of the physical activity promotion. Results: The study of the important world documents proved the society-wide seriousness of the promotion of physical activity. The promotion of the long-life physical activity in the primary prevention is based on the strong evidence of health benefits bringing the additional newly discovered economic and psycho-social benefits. Simultaneously it appeared that in the Czech republic the agenda of physical activity as protective factor and the inactivity as high- risk factor is very low. Motivation for physical activities in the water for adult person

Title: Motivation for physical activities in the water for adult person Research: Total physical activity of adults Objectives: Implement and evaluate a case study exercise intervention with the use of swimming locomotion during the period of six months focused on increasing of total physical activity of a client aged 39 years. Methods: Case study, observation, interview, timing, scaling Results: The research object was an adult man at the age of 39 years. The exercise programme lasting six months contributed to improvements in his swimming literacy. The proband improved the quality of basic swimming skills, extended swimming breaststroke distance and eliminated the main errors in this technique. He mastered the basics of crawl and backstroke. The exercise programme made an assumption to the fact that swimming is to become his regularly performed physical activity. Physical activities high school students in Trhové Sviny

Physical inactiveness and a large increase in obesity are problems of the 21st century. It is proved a harmful effect of the lack of physical activity on the prevalence of obesity. With the increase of health problems which come from inappropriate lifestyle, this state is a reality of modern civilisation despite a big progress in medical science. It is disturbing that also children and youg people live this way. We can say that physical activities and sports are getting to the background of their interests. Physical activeness and its health benefits are one of the main topic in Health Education. The aim of my thesis is to find and compare participation of students in Gymnázium and High Schoool in Trhové Sviny in their out-of-school sports activities. Theoretical part deals with terms such as physical activeness, physical activity, physical deficiency. The next chapters deal with health benefits which are consequent upon physical activeness. Practical part of this thesis indicates the results of my research: physical activities are relatively extended among high school students. The research was carried out using a questionaire survey. This questionaire was drawn up especially for this research.

Title: Physical activity of eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki Objectives: The aim of this work is based on the questionnaire survey and shall describe and evaluate the current state of physical activity of eleven year old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. Following the results of the work, proposals for improvement of the current situation will be created. These can be used by either organizations and institutions that are engaged in support of physical activity or have it directly in the job description, or the general public. Methods: Primary and secondary data sources were used for this research of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. To obtain the primary data, it was necessary to make a quantitative research using questionnaires among the pupils. The secondary data were obtained from the research of the WHO which in the years 2009/2010, inter alia, examined the status of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in the world. Title: Accumulated physical activity support at German youth Objectives: The main goal of this task is a closer look at the content of the accumulated physical activity support applicated on German youth and its comparison with the current status of it in the Czech republic. Methods: In this work I provide a content analysis of publications, foreign tasks, specific studies, articles and documents pointed at accumulated physical activity support issue that I additionally deal with in the comparative analysis of the Czech republic and Germany. Results: There is a clear outcome of the comparison made that both countries are fighting with the significant and constantly increasing number of teenagers that live in a sedentary and unhealthy way. In both countries there are numerous quality intervention programmes pointed at youth but they are underestimated from the managerial perspective in the Czech republic. Just in Germany we can find an inspiration and right direction in the area of conception, organization and the overall provision of successful intervention programmes. The Condition of Motion Activities at Female Students from Pedagogical Faculty of University of South Bohemian in České Budějovice

A significant problem of the 21st century, across different countries, is currently insufficient physical activity and a large increase in obesity . Influence of physical impairment on the prevalence of obesity is proven. At this time the physical activity is not sufficient for biological needs of man and as a result of this is a threat to the human species. With the alarming rise of health problems, which results from improper lifestyle , against all the progress in medical science, these conditions are a reality of modern civilization. Physical activity with its health benefits is one of the key topics of health education. In this thesis, the state of physical activity among female students of The Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice, both day and part-time bachelor's and master's degree program is monitored by using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. The theoretical part deals with concepts such as physical activity and a summary of the activities practiced out in a unit of time and definition and classification of them. Another two chapters are devoted to the health benefits of physical activity and another aspects of physical activity in relation to health. The practical part of this thesis analyzes in detail the results of the standardized questionnaire IPAQ, which monitors the activity of the individual within seven days. Female Students responded to 27 questions , which were divided into four part evaluation exercise. A separate part of the evaluation was the time spent sitting and personal anamnesis of the respondent. The evaluation was processed using simple statistical method and recorded in a bar graph.
